Soy .

Directions:
Food supplement based on nattokinase, a fibrinolytic enzyme extracted from a traditional Japanese food called natto and obtained from the fermentation of soybeans, whose beneficial effects have been identified in the prevention of heart attacks and strokes. Natto contains a significant amount of vitamin K2 which has been largely removed in Natto NFCP, so as to make it compatible with traditional anticoagulant medicines, such as warfarin.

Benefits and features:
- The active ingredient of Natto NFCP is nattokinase, a protein belonging to the bacillopeptidase family. When it is secreted, this protein has a high molecular weight but, through self-cleavage processes during fermentation, extraction and purification, it self-digests, giving rise to active forms present at a lower molecular weight. The active ingredient is therefore made up of several peptide fragments, all deriving from the initial bacillopeptidase F, which maintain their own activity, similar to that of the original protein and which, taken together, constitute the nattokinase enzyme.
- The proteolytic enzyme responsible for most of the physiological processes of fibrinolysis in the body is the serine protease plasmin. This protein is physiologically present in an inactive form called plasminogen, which is affected by some highly controlled chemical reactions in order to be converted into its biologically active form. There are numerous proteins that participate in the conversion processes of plasminogen into plasmin, such as tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) or urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA). These activators can be rendered inactive by the action of some inhibitory proteins such as plasminogen activator inhibitor (PAI-1), whose action involves a reduction in the cytoplasmic presence of plasmin and consequently a reduction in the fibrinolytic activity of the organism, which can result in a dysregulation of the delicate balance naturally present between the coagulation and blood fluidification mechanisms. Nattokinase is able to make PAI-1 inactive at the blood level and therefore counteract the effect of an excessive tendency for blood clotting, favoring the presence of the active enzyme plasmin and considerably increasing the effectiveness of the natural control mechanisms of the body's own blood viscosity.
- Natto NFCP does not act as a medicine, as it does not directly affect the viscosity of the blood and does not directly dissolve any clots but increases the effectiveness of the body's natural control mechanisms; this means that this natural supplement does not have the negative side effects on blood clotting that can instead occur with the use of blood-thinning drugs such as acetyl salicylic acid.
- Furthermore, NATTO NFCP has low levels of vitamin K2, which is naturally present predominantly in the natto food, thus making the product highly compatible with treatments that involve the use of anticoagulant medicines such as warfarin, whose activity is not reduced. [“Warfarin antagonism of natto and increase in serum vitamin K by intake of natto.” Kudo T. Artery. 1990;17(4):189-201.]

Useful in case of:
It supports cardiovascular well-being and assists physiological fibrinolytic processes. It acts favorably on lowering blood pressure and blood coagulation.

Nattokinase from fermented soy extract (Glycine max) 100 mg.

Recommended doses:
1 tablet per day to complete a main meal.

Precautions for use:
The consumption of the product in combination with medicines can only take place under medical supervision. The product is intended for use by adults. Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding.
