Benefits and characteristics: Methylfolate is a vitamin belonging to the B vitamin family, specifically the biologically active form of vitamin B9 (folic acid). Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, the normal function of the immune system, normal psychological function, and normal homocysteine metabolism, amino acid synthesis, cell division, and blood formation.

The human body normally converts folate into methylfolate before it can be used for various purposes in the body. However, a small percentage of the population is unable to convert adequate amounts of folate into methylfolate due to genetic variations. This supplement provides folate in its active (methylated) form and should be taken under the advice of a physician.

Recommended doses:
Take 1 capsule daily with a main meal. The capsule can be opened and the contents mixed with a little water. Do not exceed the recommended dose unless recommended by your doctor.

Folate (as calcium 5-methyltetrahydrofolate) 400μg (200*), In a base of Alfalfa, Spirulina and Bilberry, vegetable cellulose capsule.
